This is where Boo Boo Bear's adventures started! (If you don't count his plane ride across the ocean snuggled between cookies and muffins in a care package.)
Some of the airmen who worked with Shea Leigh's dad kidnapped Boo Boo so they could play a trick on Dad. They hid Boo high up in the rafters of one of the hangars. Dad had to search all over before he found Boo Boo. Everyone laughed when Dad had to get a tall ladder to rescue Boo from his kidnappers.
After that, Dad guarded Boo Boo Bear very closely! He said that Boo Boo was a hero for making the airmen laugh even when they were doing a hard job far, far from home.
